History
Courthouse Green is a one acre plaza on the east side of the Allen County Courthouse that was dedicated on October 15, 1999. This was a $3 million dollar project that highlights a side of the building that was hidden for decades behind a half-dozen buildings and a parking lot. Now Courthouse Green visitors can admire various flowers, trees and shrubs from the sidewalk or from multiple benches lining this picturesque park.
